Hi 👋🏽 Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Harshvardhan K. Babla (Harsh or HV, for short). I'm a second year Ph.D. student in Applied Physics at Yale University, interested in quantum information. My current research is focused on the implementation of Measurement-Based Quantum Computing (MBQC) using Schrödinger Cat states. I'm grateful to be advised by Prof. Shruti Puri and co-advised by Prof. Rob Schoelkopf.
I completed my bachelors in Electrical Engineering at Princeton University, with minors in Computer Science and Engineering Physics. I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Andrew Houck and Prof. Stephen A. Lyon. I also spent a summer with Prof. Alexandre Blais at Université de Sherbrooke.
In my free time, you can find me swimming, drawing, singing, or reading fiction. I also love to cook and make fruit smoothies. I'm always on the look-out for cool recipes; please do email or tweet some of your favorites to me!
Sometimes I blog and interview leaders in tech and science research. Browse the research tab to see some of my previous work and feel free to reach out
